Unwind

Hey guys I'm really sorry I haven’t posted in almost two months, with exams and trying to get a social life. I haven’t had time to blog although, I have been reading a lot and so far my summer favorite is defiantly 100% positive is Unwind by Neal Schustermam this novel deserves a million stars usually in dystopian books I read the first book is background knowledge which gets kind of boring sometimes don't get me wrong I LOVE DYSTOPIAN books with a passion but this book is absolutely amazing I never wanted to put it down. This is the type of book that keeps you thinking about it long after you've read it. This book is about three teenagers living in a dystopian world where life cannot be touched from the moment of conception tile 13, after 13 years the parent make choice to abort the child through a process called unwinding where they divide the child’s body while keeping them alive so it’s not technically killing and they give the parts to people who needs or wants new body parts. I could literally go on and on about this book but to do that I would a, have to spoil half the book and b, put down the sequel (Unwholly) but what I can tell you is that you will not be disappointed this book literally drags you in and never lets you go until the last page and maybe not even then my only regret is finishing this book and the sequel to soon. Once again I apologize for my absent, have a great summer and I'll seeya next time

Out Of My Mind

This week I read Out Of My Mind, by Sharon Draper although it was intended for middle school it was still a very moving book, it really made me think in a point of view of disable people like in the story no one really believed Melody was smart and had intelligent thought in her head, it was really sad when she wished she could tell her parents that she loved them in her own voice. I loved it when she went off on the other students I had a you go girl moment for her it was just an emotional powerful book and I really liked it you guys should really read this. Sorry for not posting I haven't been reading since ZAYN LEFT ONE DIRECTION yes I'm a huge directioner so this made me cry anyway next week I might be reviewing Legend by Marie Lu

Eleanor & Park

Eleanor and Park was different, in the beginning of the book I didn't like all the racial comments which made me think the character Eleanor was racist but as the book progressed I found myself liking the book it was new while Park being Korean and how Eleanor was picked on for being bigger and a red head for being different and I love how they were so different yet the still feel in love oh and the 80's music they both loved and the comics it was an overall cute story but the ending I didn't like but it fit the book, well that's all sorry for not posting in awhile took me forever to get into this but if you liked this We were Liars I suggest this book and If I stay by Gayle Forman. Next week I might be reviewing If I stay not sure yet.

Obsidian

This week my friend forced my to read 'Obsidian' Like with every book I wasn't so sure about it and it being an alien story automatically put the image of tiny marshlands (however you spell that) in my head, but it was just something about the main character Daemon Black that just made me fall in love with the story it was new, modern, and exciting it kept me up at night reading and wanting to find out what would happen next. The heat between Katy and Daemon wasn't your typically boy and girl meet hate each other then fall in love.... okay maybe it was, But come on we all love that stuff but my favorite thing about the book would have to be Daemon and Dee's brotherly sister bond how he was so protective of her was just adorable and makes me want to be that close with my siblings (yeah right) Don't won't to give to much away but Overall this book was amazing it really changes your idea of Aliens it kinda reminded me of the TV show 'Starcrossed' I'm really looking forward to reading the rest of series I think I found my new book boyfriend and his name is Daemon Black, Katy is just going to have to deal with it.

We Were Liars

This week I read 'We Were Liars' by E. Lockhart, I enjoyed the book I even got my brother's girlfriend to read it and she's not to big on reading and even she couldn't put it down. This thrilling beautiful novel invites you into the beautiful Sinclair family I actually didn't really like it until the last 20 pages when the entire book took a turn and everything came together and made sense.I loved the characters I have to say Johnny was my favorite out of the Lairs In conclusion the book was a good read I recommend it for fans of The Fault In Our Stars. We'll thank you for enduring my torturing first blog hopefully I'll get better at this and look back on this first blog and laugh. Next week I will be reviewing Obsidian By Jennifer L. Armentrout.
